After months of planning and organizing, former students of the Limestone Elementary School in Montour County, Pennsylvania, held a ceremony to dedicate the school bell as part of a memorial for all former students and community members of Limestone Township. Shirley is a kind, compassionate person. She is also my sister. She is the person who took me by the hand and led me to my first grade classroom to meet Mrs. Diltz, the teacher for first and second grades back in 1954. Some memories remain for a lifetime. This is one of them.
